What a Week!

Thanks to all of you who are reading my new book, In the Shadow of the River, or have already read it. Some reviews are showing up here and there and everywhere.

And even more fun, well, at least different run, is that Jacci Reed went over to Novel Pastimes and did an interview. While she’s back in 1897, through the magic of fiction she was able to answer questions that you can all read. I think you’ll enjoy Jacci’s interview even if you’ve already read her story.  Just click on this link and you’ll get to read her interview with a reporter who plans to baord the Kingston Floating Palace for the show that night.

Meanwhile, I’ve been off at my writers’ retreat in Savannah, and where did I go? A bookstore, of course. And even more fun this bookstore had cats. Do you see the one in the window?

So why not sit down and read it a story? If only I’ve had a copy of In the Shadow of the River. I wonder if a showboat ever had a cat along for the ride. I’m guessing they did. Maybe I should have given Jacci a cat!

What do you think? Does the cat like the story or not?

  1. I think that cat can read that you have a “Dog Lover” shirt on and he or she is saying “Hey what about us cats? Aren’t we cool too?”

    🙂
