News and Events with Ann and her books:
A Late Valentine Contest
Ann sent out a newsletter with a late Valentine contest. But is it ever too late to think about love and chocolate? Okay, she isn't giving away chocolates, but the prize is this beautiful heart necklace along with the winner's choice of one of her books. She also invited entrants to send a poem along with their entry. Not necessary, but her newsletter readers are having fun with it. She offered them the options of finishing this poem "Roses are red. Violets are blue." (Your words then.) Or coming up with your own poem. So join in the fun and write a poem or simply throw your name in the hat for the prize by sending Ann an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or leaving a comment on her blog with a way for Ann to contact you. The winner will be picked by random drawing on March 3rd and announced on Ann's One Writer's Journal that night. You must be 18 to enter and one entry per person. If you'd like to receive Ann's newsletter to keep up on her news and new contests, sign up here: Ann's newsletter.

Ann thanks all of you who entered her Christmas contest. First place winner of the three generation figurine and Ann's book, The Believer was Patty from Illinois. 2nd place winner was Barbara from California, who gets the Peanuts calendar and Angel Sister. That worked out well since Barbara said she was a big Peanuts fan. Ann's "just because winner" was Cynthia from Maine who received an audio tape since she was having eye problems right now. Again, thank you all for sharing Ann's Christmas Giveaway fun. Thanks also for those who entered Ann's Mystery Photo Giveaway on her blog last month. She'll think up a new fun blog contest soon.
